BUILT 1928

One of our biggest projects to date! This amazing home built in 1928 was a sore site when we purchased it. Once grand, this 3200 sq ft home had been subdivided, altered, and had the majority of its original character and architectural identity either destroyed or removed. However, with 6 bedrooms, 3.5 baths and a 4 bridge view - we knew this home was well worth the investment to return it to its glorious past. And we've done just that…

Let's start with the mind blowing views… 4 bridge unobstructed (the best we've ever seen) now visible through new dual pane/low e windows. In addition, all new electric, plumbing, heating, on demand water, earthquake retro fit, and foundation repairs now make this vintage beauty a solid state of the art home.

The once odd and isolated kitchen is now expanded and includes a 48 in. Viking range, wine refrigerator, quartz counters, custom tile, all new wood cabinetry, and beautiful eat in area featuring an original built in hutch that has been restored to its former prominence. The style is nothing short of Alice Waters chic with a Golden Gate view.

The grand formal living room is now the showcase of the home and features the amazing views and a beautiful fireplace with stone surround and gracefully carved vintage mantle. Dramatic floor to ceiling columns that were rescued from San Francisco's iconic Carnelian Room now serve as the entrance to the formal dining room that shares this dramatic space.

The original staircase, located in the heart of the home, was previously covered over and converted to a bath and pantry… it has now been rebuilt in period style and seamless connects the upper floor to the other level's additional 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and amazing family room.

The all new Primary Bedroom is a private retreat and has wonderful views of the Golden Gate and Bay, dual closets, crown molding and en suite bath with Carrera marble floors, custom tile, spa like shower with bench, beautiful cabinetry and fixtures.

The spacious and airy family room features a fireplace with original restored mantle with Batchelder tile, a wall of windows that frames the Golden Gate and Bay Views and glass doors to huge deck and private yard with new landscaping and rolling grass for play.

The 6th bedroom can also be used as a home gym, office, workshop, storage room or nanny's quarters.

Additional features include new oak floors that have seamlessly blended into the original wood floors, detailed case and trim work, custom lighting throughout, upgraded hardware, custom paint color palette of Bee Renovated hues, new laundry room, attached garage…the list goes on.

Homes such as this are a rarity. With thoughtful design decisions and excellent craftsmanship, Bee Renovated is proud to call this stately home, “one of our best”!
