It's always been our dream to make our living doing what we love and now we're doing just that. After purchasing and restoring a number of our own homes we realized that this is what we loved and we also made a great team. Our combination of a trained eye for design and experience in construction results in renovations that are beautiful and well crafted.

It all began with the renovation of our first home - a small "fixer" in San Leandro. Since then, our homes have taken us from Albuquerque to San Rafael and finally, here in the East Bay hills: Berkeley, Kensington, Richmond, El Cerrito and Albany. We shop dine, and live in the neighborhoods where we work. We are proud that Bee Renovated helps restore and beautify these great communities in which we live.
Bee Renovated's focus is on restoring vintage homes.
Our goal is to restore homes to a state that their original builders would be proud of. To a style recalling the directness and simplicity of an earlier era. Many of the homes we restore were built at a time when there was great appreciation and respect for nature, family and hand craftsmanship.
Our goal is to approach each restoration in a similar manner no matter what the home's style - be it a bungalow, post-war traditional or mid-century ranch.

All of our home's details are selected carefully and thoughtfully. Each fixture, faucet, tile, color palette, interior and exterior detail is selected based on each home's style and personality. These are not "formulaic" decisions.

We design modern cohesive floor plans where space flows seamlessly from one room to the next. We anticipate the functionality and livability to accommodate its future family.
We don't "flip" homes.....and liken that to the "F" word.
Yes, we purchase, renovate and resell our homes but this is a passion for us and we take on each project as if we were the future inhabitants.

As an ASID Interior Designer with a respected and published design company, I bring my experience to each new home we renovate...to practice what works well and what provides a respectful nod to the past but is chic and modern for today.

On the contrary! We love getting our hands dirty and being on site to ensure each project meets our high standard of excellence. All work is completed to meet, or in most cases exceed, strict building codes and guidelines. No project is complete without all proper inspections and consideration for zoning and professional guidance.

With backgrounds in business management and communication, all projects are completed professionally and with great attention to the end user. We don't contract for individual projects such as a kitchen or bath remodel due to our devotion to "whole home" renovations. We take great pride in seeing a home through every aspect of its renovation, from making sure the foundation is solid to selecting the right doorknocker. The result is exceptional craftsmanship partnered with handsome design that is reflected in a Bee Renovated home's overall appeal.
